This page applies to the mobile apps published by Tareq Hasan on the Apple App Store and Google Play that let you create an account.
How to request deletion
In the app. Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm.
By email. If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in:
- Email [email protected] from the address your account uses.
- Use the subject “Delete my account”.
- Include the name of the app.
I will confirm the request and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name and account identifier.
- Everything you saved or synced in the app, such as saved items, settings and game progress.
What is kept
- Purchase records, for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Apple and Google hold the payment details; I never have them.
- Analytics and crash data that is not linked to your account. It expires on the providers’ own schedule, usually within 14 months.
Deleting data without deleting your account
To have specific data removed while keeping your account, email [email protected] and describe what you want removed.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first from your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Apps without an account
Those apps store your data only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
